Anglo Solar Ofgem Approved Innovation Measure 435w Tigo Optimised Solar Module for a 45% uplift for ECO4 funded projects
The Anglo Solar Innovation Measure Tigo optimised solar module, approved by Ofgem for a 45% funding uplift for ECO4 projects, represents a major step forward in renewable energy technology. This advanced solar module features a built-in Tigo optimiser, enhancing its overall efficiency and safety.
Ofgem have just confirmed that the Anglo Solar Innovation Measure optimised solar modules now qualify for a 25% uplift as well as the original 45% uplift.
The significance of this is that installers now have a choice whether to connect the Anglo solar system to the internet at the property. If they choose not to connect, then they will save time and money not having to buy and install the Tigo internet CCA, TAP and SIM/Modem units at site and the installation will still receive a 25% ECO4 funding uplift.
Other competitors still need to connect to the internet to claim even the 25% uplift. Anglo panels do not.
Previously Anglo Solar optimised panels only had the 45% uplift with internet connection required. This is now optional.
The Tigo optimiser is renowned for its intelligent optimization and monitoring capabilities, which ensure maximum energy production and streamlined system performance. This integration allows for more efficient energy conversion, reduced power losses, and real-time performance tracking, making it an ideal choice for both residential installations.
Anglo Solar installers will need to on-board with Retrofit Practice who provide verification stickers and a link for installers to upload their installation data. To onboard, please email innovation@retrofitpractice.co.uk
The 45% funding uplift under the ECO4 scheme highlights the UK government’s commitment to helping to reduce energy bills for lower income families. By endorsing the Anglo Solar Innovation module, Ofgem acknowledges its superior performance and its potential to significantly lower energy costs and environmental impact. This funding uplift will make it more accessible for social landlords to adopt high-efficiency solar solutions, thereby accelerating the transition to sustainable energy sources.
Moreover, the Anglo Solar Innovation module’s built-in Tigo inverter simplifies installation and maintenance, reducing overall system costs and enhancing long-term reliability. This combination of advanced technology and financial support underscores the critical role of innovative solar solutions in achieving the UK’s ambitious energy sustainability and carbon reduction targets.
